New Delhi, June 23: Millions of young people in the country aspire to secure government jobs. They eagerly prepare and await the release of vacancies. If you are among them, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a short notification inviting applications for a total of 119 Section Controller positions.
The online application process for the vacancies announced by RRB is expected to begin on July 15, with the last date for applications set for August 14. Eligible candidates who wish to apply for these positions can submit their registration forms on the RRB’s official website once the application link is activated, up until or before the final date.
Applicants must possess at least a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 20 years, while the maximum age is 33 years, calculated as of July 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on several stages, including a Computer-Based Test (CBT), qualifying examination (if applicable), document verification, and medical examination. The starting salary for selected candidates will be ₹35,400 per month under Pay Level 6 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), along with additional benefits and allowances.
It is important to note that RRB will soon release detailed information regarding the recruitment process, eligibility, and selection criteria for the Section Controller positions on its official portal before the application link is activated.
