What is a City Intimation Slip?

The City Intimation Slip provides candidates with key details such as:

  • Candidate’s Name and Roll Number

  • Date and Shift of Examination

  • Examination Centre and City

  • Reporting Time and Other Instructions

This slip enables candidates to plan travel and accommodation in advance. Importantly, it is not an admit card and will not serve as an entry pass to the examination centre.

Exam Dates and Shift Details

The RRB NTPC UG CBT-1 Exam 2025 will be held across multiple shifts from June 29 to July 21, 2025. Candidates are strongly advised to check their shift timing and location details immediately after downloading their city slip.

The CBT-1 exam is expected to officially commence in late June, following the schedule announced in March 2025. This exam is a key recruitment gateway for various Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) positions within Indian Railways.

When to Download Admit Card

While the city slip is already live, the official admit card (e-call letter) will be available for download starting June 25, 2025. On the day of the exam, candidates must carry:

  • A printed copy of their Admit Card

  • A valid government-issued photo ID proof

Entry will not be allowed without these documents.

Travel Benefits for SC/ST Candidates

As per government guidelines, SC/ST candidates can also avail of railway travel concessions for reaching their examination centre. The City Intimation Slip serves as a supporting document for availing this benefit.

Important Advisory

Candidates are advised to:

  1. Verify all details on both the City Intimation Slip and the upcoming Admit Card

  2. Contact their respective regional RRB immediately in case of any discrepancies

  3. Download and print multiple copies of the documents for safekeeping and future reference

This release marks an important step in the RRB NTPC UG recruitment process and ensures smooth preparation for lakhs of aspirants across the country.
