Bengaluru, August 14: In the 12th leg of the Women’s Professional Golf Tour (WPGT) 2026, Riddhima Dilawari has successfully maintained her three-shot lead with one round remaining. The competition, held at the Prestige Golfshire in Bengaluru, saw veteran Neha Tripathi (72-69) tied for second place with Heena Kang (73-68) and Mannat Barar (70-71), all scoring 3-under 141.
The three-time champion Riddhima started strong, achieving three birdies in the first eight holes for a score of 3-under. Although her momentum slowed with consecutive bogeys on the 14th and 15th holes, she finished with a round of 71, bringing her total to 6-under 138 over 36 holes. Riddhima had previously scored 67 in the first round and is now focused on securing her fourth win of the season.
On the other hand, Heena Kang made six birdies, one of the highest of the day. Her impressive performance included four birdies between the third and eighth holes, along with two more on the 11th and 13th holes. Despite some dropped shots on the first, ninth, and 15th holes, Heena’s score of 68 was the lowest round of the day.
Neha Tripathi faced challenges with bogeys on the seventh and ninth holes but made a remarkable comeback on the back nine with five birdies, including a hat-trick of three consecutive birdies from the 11th to the 13th holes.
Young Indian golf star Mannat Barar had a mixed performance. After losing three shots between the second and sixth holes, she bounced back with four birdies between the eighth and 12th holes, finishing with a score of 71.
Recent winner Vidhatri Urs also had a strong start, scoring 4-under in the first five holes. She achieved birdies on the first and third holes, along with an eagle on the par-5 fifth hole. However, her progress was halted by a double bogey on the par-4 eighth hole, followed by bogeys on the 10th, 15th, and 16th holes. Despite a birdie on the 13th hole, she ended with a score of 72, placing her fifth.
Jahnavi Prakya and amateur Keertana Rajiv shared sixth place, while Anvi Dahiya secured the eighth position. A large group of players led by veterans Vani Kapoor and Amandeep Drall, along with nature scientist Sanvi Somu and Jasmine Shekhar, tied for ninth place with a score of 4-over 148.
The cut was set at 153, allowing 32 players to qualify for the final round. Notably missing the cut was Riya Jadon. In the third round, experienced stars Riddhima and Neha Tripathi will play alongside young Heena in the final group, while Jahnavi, Vidhatri Urs, and Mannat Barar will be in the second-to-last group.
