Relief Rain Expected in NCR Over the Next Two Days, Yellow Alert Issued

Noida, May 30: Residents of the National Capital Region (NCR) can expect some relief from the intense heat, according to the latest forecast from the India Meteorological Department (IMD). On May 30 and 31, pleasant weather is anticipated, with light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds expected in several areas.

The weather department has issued a yellow alert for these two days. The forecast indicates a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 23 degrees Celsius on May 30. There is a possibility of “thunderstorms with rain,” with light to moderate rainfall expected in the afternoon and evening, accompanied by lightning and gusty winds reaching speeds of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. Similar weather conditions are expected on May 31.

On that day, the maximum temperature could rise to 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum may be around 25 degrees Celsius. The weather department predicts light rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds during the afternoon and evening. However, as June begins, temperatures are expected to rise again. On June 1, the maximum temperature could reach 38 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 25 degrees Celsius. The weather is expected to be partly cloudy, with no warnings issued.

By June 2, temperatures may climb to 39 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 26 degrees Celsius, and the weather will remain partly cloudy. According to the weather department, on June 3, the maximum temperature could hit 40 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius, and the sky is expected to be mostly clear.

On June 4, the maximum temperature may reach 41 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius. The weather is expected to be clear, and no warnings have been issued. Meteorologists suggest that the relief in NCR over the next two days is due to the influence of western disturbances and local weather activities.

The rainfall and strong winds are likely to result in a drop in daytime temperatures, providing respite from the oppressive heat and humidity. However, after June 1, temperatures are expected to rise rapidly once again.
