Relief as Restrictions on Petrol and Diesel Lifted; Krishna Hegde Comments on Political Developments

Mumbai, July 1: Krishna Hegde, spokesperson for Shiv Sena, responded to the central government’s decision to lift temporary restrictions on the distribution of petrol and diesel. He also commented on UP Congress President Ajay Rai’s visit to the Ram Temple, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s phone conversation with the Iranian president, and the inclusion of Shiv Sena (UBT) legislators into Eknath Shinde‘s faction.

Hegde praised the central government’s move to remove the daily cap of 200 liters per person on diesel distribution. He stated that this decision has restored control over the circulation and distribution of petrol and diesel, providing relief to the common man. He expressed gratitude to the central government and expressed confidence that it would continue to work towards providing more conveniences in CNG, LPG, petrol, and diesel in the future.

Regarding Ajay Rai’s visit to Ayodhya to see Ram Lalla, Hegde remarked that it was commendable for the Congress party to finally remember Lord Ram. He suggested that if Rai had visited Ram Lalla years ago, it would have been even better. Hegde also encouraged Rai to advise his leader, Rahul Gandhi, to visit Ram Lalla as well.

On the phone conversation between Prime Minister Modi and the Iranian president, Hegde noted that both leaders emphasized the importance of global peace and maintaining stability in their respective regions. Modi highlighted the significance of the Hormuz Strait and other routes for oil and essential supplies reaching India, stressing the need for Iran’s cooperation. The Iranian president appreciated Modi’s efforts to foster peace through dialogue with various countries.

Hegde commented on the inclusion of Shiv Sena (UBT) legislators into Eknath Shinde’s faction, stating that anyone who respects Shinde’s leadership and the ideology of the late Balasaheb Thackeray would naturally align with Shiv Sena. He welcomed any leaders or legislators from Congress who wish to join, emphasizing that those committed to strengthening Maharashtra and upholding Thackeray’s principles would be fully welcomed into their party.
