Chennai Petroleum Corporation Announces Recruitment for 60 Junior Engineering Assistant Positions

Chennai, September 15 (Daily Kiran) : Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) has announced the recruitment of 60 Junior Engineering Assistant positions through an official notification on its website. The vacancies include 40 for Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production), 10 for Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical), 5 for Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical), and 5 for Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Instrumentation).

The online application process began on August 14 and was originally set to close on September 11. However, the deadline has now been extended to September 30. Candidates who missed the initial deadline are encouraged to complete their registration on the CPCL official website before the new cutoff to seize this excellent opportunity.

Applicants must hold a three-year diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institution or university, with a minimum of 60% marks. Additionally, candidates are required to have at least three years of relevant work experience.

The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 30 years, calculated as of July 1, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.

Selection will be based on a computer-based test (CBT), followed by shortlisting, document verification, and skill or physical tests. Selected candidates can expect a monthly salary ranging from ₹25,000 to ₹1,05,000, along with additional benefits and allowances.

When filling out the application, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee, which is set at ₹500 for General/EWS/OBC applicants. SC/ST/PWD/Ex-SM and female candidates are exempt from the registration fee.
