Mumbai, April 14: Redmi has begun to unveil exciting details about the upcoming Redmi K90 Max, scheduled for launch on April 21. The brand is marketing this device as a performance powerhouse, with recent teasers emphasizing its impressive gaming capabilities.
Dimensity 9500 Confirmed with Dual-Chip Gaming Setup
The Redmi K90 Max will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, complemented by a dedicated D2 graphics chip. This dual-chip configuration is engineered to enhance frame interpolation, resolution scaling, and overall image quality during gaming sessions. Redmi asserts that the device can achieve up to 165fps across various games, even those that do not support such high frame rates natively.
Recently, the device appeared on Geekbench, where a prototype equipped with 16GB of RAM achieved impressive single-core and multi-core scores. This listing confirms the flagship chipset and indicates that multiple RAM options may be available at launch.
The front of the Redmi K90 Max is expected to showcase a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, tailored for competitive gaming. The display is designed to support high brightness levels and improved touch responsiveness, enhancing the overall gaming experience.
Another significant feature is the cooling system. This will be Xiaomi’s first smartphone to incorporate an integrated fan, featuring a vertical airflow design that can significantly lower internal temperatures in a short time. Despite this active cooling solution, the device is expected to maintain robust dust and water resistance ratings.
Additionally, the Redmi K90 Max is likely to come with a large battery that supports fast charging, along with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, making it a comprehensive performance device.
