Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro: Specs Leak Reveals 185Hz Display and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Mumbai, April 14: Last June, Red Magic introduced the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro in China, which later launched globally as the Red Magic Astra Gaming Tablet. Now, the brand is reportedly gearing up for its successor, tentatively named the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro. Senior executive Jiang Chao recently hinted at a launch timeframe in April or May 2026. Ahead of this, tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked key details about the device.

Rumored Specifications of Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro

According to the leak, the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro may feature a compact 9-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1504 pixels. The panel is expected to support a refresh rate of up to 185Hz, emphasizing smooth gaming visuals. The device could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, complemented by an advanced liquid cooling system to manage heat during prolonged gaming sessions.

The tablet is also rumored to come with an 8300mAh battery, striking a balance between performance and endurance. Multiple configurations are anticipated, including options with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. Additionally, the device may integrate an on-device AI model, enhancing its capabilities beyond gaming.

Currently, there is no information regarding the device’s cameras. It remains uncertain whether it will inherit the 9-megapixel rear camera and 13-megapixel front camera from its predecessor.

The Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is expected to launch in several variants, including 12GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, 16GB+1TB, and 24GB+1TB. It may also feature unique design options, such as transparent finishes with RGB lighting elements, aligning with the brand’s gaming-centric identity.

Red Magic 11S Pro in Development
