Gorakhpur, September 21 (Daily Kiran) : BJP MP Ravi Kishan attended the Jewelry and Lifestyle Exhibition held in Gorakhpur on September 21. During the event, he expressed his admiration for the creativity of the participating women.
In a conversation, Kishan extended heartfelt thanks to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for supporting such initiatives. “This is the CM’s home district, and he aims to promote self-reliance and the ‘One District, One Product’ scheme. It’s wonderful to see so many empowered women here, showcasing their handmade creations,” he said.
Kishan noted that women across the state are embracing Prime Minister Modi’s vision for a changing India. “I believe our women no longer need to travel to fashion hubs like New York to showcase their talents,” he added.
He praised the exhibition, stating, “Gorakhpur is hosting such fashion events, and there are so many stalls that I find it hard to decide whom to compliment. I’ve been wandering around for the past couple of hours. It’s interesting to see creative women from respected families here, many of whom have come in pairs—mothers and daughters, friends, or mothers-in-law with daughters-in-law.”
Kishan emphasized the joy of working alongside such relationships. “I believe India will become much safer for women in the coming years,” he remarked.
He also commented on the Samajwadi Party’s recent ‘Samajwadi PDA Yatra,’ suggesting that it is merely a ploy to garner votes for the family. “Pandits and Brahmins are well aware of the situation; they are a society known for their sacrifice and wisdom,” he concluded.
