Mumbai, August 8: In Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, students are protesting against paper leaks and demanding a transparent recruitment process. Rapper Suraj Tylen joined the students to show his support. He emphasized the need for transparency in examinations during his discussions with the protesters.
Tylen stated, “The ongoing protests in Jharkhand are crucial. Our students are demanding the cancellation of the JPSC preliminary exam and transparency in exam results. I am here to support these demands. In my time, paper leaks were common, but we lacked the understanding and confidence to address these issues.”
Suraj Tylen learned about the protests through social media. He explained, “This protest was initiated by leader Devendra Nath Mahto and later advanced by Prem Nayak. When I learned about this movement while in Varanasi, I felt compelled to come here in support. If I didn’t, I would be doing an injustice to my brother, who is preparing for a government job. It is essential for me to support causes that do not jeopardize his future.”
Tylen also performed a rap about Jharkhand, highlighting the deteriorating education system and the corruption among leaders. He remarked, “Do you think everything is fine in Jharkhand? The education system is degrading, and leaders are becoming corrupt. Students can’t even return home after exams without hearing about paper leaks.”
Concluding his remarks, he appealed to the Chief Minister, saying, “I urge the Chief Minister to consider us as his own. If you don’t think about us, who will? Jharkhand is our land, and you are one of us. We, the youth, are your future, and our future lies in your hands. We will vote for you if you provide us with a better future. Please take swift action against those selling jobs and fulfill the students’ demands.”
