Rakul Preet Singhs Jungle Safari Controversy Explained by Gir Forest Administration

Mumbai, May 11: Actress Rakul Preet Singh is currently busy promoting her upcoming film “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do.” Recently, a video of her exploring the Gir National Park has gone viral, raising eyebrows and sparking controversy.

In the video, Rakul is seen stepping out of her vehicle and casually walking through the forest, leading to accusations of violating park regulations.

In response to the backlash, the Gir Forest administration issued a clarification on their official social media platform on Sunday. They stated that the viral video was filmed outside the park’s gates, not in any restricted area.

Many social media users shared the video, questioning Rakul’s actions. One user remarked, “Rakul Preet Singh is wandering inside a restricted national park as if she’s on a morning walk. How did she get permission to step out of the vehicle? There shouldn’t be different rules for celebrities.”

Another user raised concerns about privilege and rule violations, while a third commented, “Stars cannot behave arbitrarily.”

It’s worth noting that Rakul Preet Singh, along with Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, and Vamika Gabbi, was in Gujarat for the film’s promotion. The team was also seen enjoying a traditional Gujarati thali and dancing to the film’s song “Roop Di Rani.”

The comedy-drama film, produced by T-Series and B.R. Studios, is set to hit theaters on May 15.
