Mumbai, June 10: Renowned South Indian director and screenwriter Singeetham Srinivasa Rao’s upcoming film ‘Sing Geetham’ is set to hit theaters soon. On Wednesday, actor Daggubati Venkatesh took to social media to commend the director and his storytelling approach.
The actor shared a photo of the director on his Instagram Stories, stating, “The journey of the famous director and screenwriter Singeetham Srinivasa Rao is a remarkable example that passion and creativity have no age. His contributions to Indian cinema are invaluable, enchanting audiences with his stories for decades.”
Expressing his excitement, Venkatesh mentioned that the director is bringing ‘Sing Geetham’ to the younger generation. He wrote, “It’s wonderful that the new generation will have the chance to experience and understand his unique magic through ‘Sing Geetham.’ The film is set to release on June 11. I wish the entire team the best. I hope ‘Sing Geetham’ touches people’s hearts and gains love from audiences everywhere.”
This musical fantasy drama is produced by Nag Ashwin under the banners of Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema. It is being promoted as India’s first musical fantasy. The film’s narrative progresses primarily through songs and music rather than traditional dialogues.
The story revolves around a young protagonist from an isolated village who ventures into a deceptive world in search of opportunities. Caught between uncontrolled forces, he finds himself torn between progress and preservation, where his faith and purpose are put to the test.
The film features artists such as Ayaan, Ahilya Bamroo, and Shalini Kondepudi. ‘Sing Geetham’ will be released in theaters worldwide on June 11.
