Rajiv Ranjan Praises Cabinet Expansion Under Nitish Kumars Leadership

Patna, May 8: Senior Janata Dal (United) leader Rajiv Ranjan expressed satisfaction with the recent cabinet expansion of the Samrat Chaudhary government in Bihar. He noted that this expansion was long-awaited and reflects adequate representation from all sections of society.

In an interview with a news agency in Patna, Ranjan stated that the cabinet expansion aims to ensure the continuity of Bihar’s development model under Nitish Kumar’s leadership.

Commenting on Nishant Kumar taking the oath as a minister, he mentioned that party workers had urged him to enter politics and play a significant role in both the party and the government. Ranjan believes that this will strengthen the party’s foundation and provide new direction for Bihar’s future.

He described the murder of BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari’s PA in West Bengal as a tragic incident. While an investigation is ongoing, he indicated that suspicion is leaning towards the Trinamool Congress (TMC).

Ranjan asserted that the new government will pursue criminals relentlessly. He also responded to statements from opposition leaders regarding elections in five states, criticizing their inconsistent praise for the Election Commission. He pointed out that they commend the Commission when they win but accuse it of fraud when they lose.

Using Kerala as an example, he noted that the opposition remains silent about their victories there but complains about the Election Commission when they face defeat. He believes the public is beginning to recognize these tactics.

Ranjan highlighted the differences in election strategies, mentioning that the TMC, Left parties, and Congress fought separately in West Bengal, while the Left and Congress contested against each other in Kerala.

He questioned the credibility of the so-called India alliance, suggesting that while it appears united on paper, its ground reality is far from cohesive.
