Kolkata, April 19: Rajasthan Royals (RR) have set a target of 156 runs for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 28th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. KKR will aim to secure their first win of the season in this crucial matchup.

Winning the toss at Eden Gardens, Rajasthan Royals opted to bat first, scoring 155 runs while losing 9 wickets. The opening partnership between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Surya showcased a solid start, accumulating 81 runs in just 8.4 overs.

Surya narrowly missed a half-century, scoring 46 runs off 28 balls, including 2 sixes and 6 fours. Following his dismissal, Jaiswal partnered with Dhruv Jurel (5) for just 16 runs before the team lost Jaiswal at a score of 99.
