Jaipur, October 16 (Daily Kiran): In a major breakthrough against organized cyber and logistics crime, Alwar Police have busted an inter-state gang involved in stealing high-value electronic items from a Flipkart transport truck. Acting under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Sudhir Chaudhary, the Laxmangarh Police Station team arrested seven accused and recovered stolen goods worth around ₹47 lakh, including 108 mobile phones and laptops.

SP Chaudhary said the case was registered on October 7, when Lakhan Pal Singh, owner of Amrit Singh Motor Transport Company, lodged a complaint stating that his truck had been fraudulently taken over by two men posing as drivers using fake documents. The truck was supposed to transport goods from Flipkart’s Bhiwandi warehouse in Maharashtra, but 234 high-value items, mainly 221 iPhone 16 units and other expensive gadgets, went missing en route.
During the investigation, police discovered that the accused had used fake identities — the supposed drivers Nasir Khan and Chahat Khan were actually Afzal and Aslam, residents of Laxmangarh.
Inside Job and Modus Operandi
Police revealed that the gang operated in a highly organized manner with inside support from within the e-commerce logistics system. A suspect named Lokesh, believed to be an insider, allegedly provided the gang with real-time information about truck routes and high-value consignments. Using forged identity documents, gang members would secure temporary jobs as drivers with transport companies. Once the goods were dispatched, they would break open the truck locks on the Mumbai–Delhi highway, steal the electronic items, and later sell them at low prices.
Swift Police Action
Following the complaint, the Laxmangarh Police swiftly arrested Afzal, Aslam (both from Laxmangarh), and Sudhir Yadav (from Tijara) on October 7. Further investigation led to the arrest of Tushar Yadav (Haryana), Vikram Singh (Uttar Pradesh), Jaipal Yadav (Khairthal, Tijara), and Manish (Gautam Buddha Nagar, UP).
From the arrested accused, police have recovered 88 Apple iPhones, 20 mobile phones from other brands, two Apple laptops, one Samsung tablet, and a WagonR car used in the crime.
Efforts are underway to nab the prime conspirator Lokesh, who remains absconding, and to recover the remaining stolen goods.
