Jaipur, June 19: Rajasthan’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Kirori Lal Meena, visited the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) headquarters on Friday to present his stance regarding the ongoing investigation into the Rajasthan State Seed Corporation case.
Speaking to the media after his meeting with ACB officials, Minister Meena stated that if found guilty in the investigation, he should be arrested without hesitation. However, he also emphasized that if he is innocent, the ACB should publicly clarify this to dispel any doubts surrounding his name.
He pointed out that the FIR related to the arrest of former Managing Director of the Rajasthan State Seed Corporation, Juglal Kishore, mentions a ‘Dr.’ and ‘Satish PA,’ which has led to confusion among the media and the public.
Minister Meena demanded that the ACB clearly identify the individuals mentioned in the FIR and clarify whether the ‘Dr.’ referenced in the documents has any connection to a minister. He expressed concern that this ambiguity is fostering various speculations and misunderstandings.
Accusing some individuals of attempting to tarnish his image, the minister claimed that certain people are deliberately trying to associate his name with this controversy. While he is aware of who is behind this, he prefers not to disclose any names at this time.
Describing the entire situation as deeply distressing, Minister Meena stressed the need for a fair and transparent investigation. He asserted that he has no involvement in any financial transactions related to this case.
The minister urged the ACB to operate within its boundaries and avoid harming anyone’s reputation without verifying facts. He also indicated that he would discuss this issue with Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and may call for an independent judicial inquiry if necessary.
Minister Meena criticized some media reports for using the term ‘Dr. Minister,’ which he believes has unnecessarily created confusion and indirectly linked him to the case. He called for the ACB to publicly identify the individuals mentioned in the FIR to clear up misunderstandings among the public.
