Rajasthan Chief Minister Reviews Pachpadra Refinery Progress Ahead of PM Modis Inauguration

Jaipur, June 24: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma held a high-level review meeting at his residence on Wednesday to assess the progress of the Pachpadra Refinery and Petrochemical Complex. He instructed officials to ensure that all preparations are completed on time for the proposed inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a post shared on X, CM Sharma provided details about the review meeting with HPCL and other relevant officials. During the meeting, officials presented samples of various petroleum and petrochemical products produced by the refinery.

He noted that this ambitious project, which aligns with PM Modi’s vision of an energy self-reliant India, is poised to write a new chapter in Rajasthan’s industrial development. The project is expected to open new avenues for investment, employment, and economic activities in the state.

Additionally, by promoting the development of petrochemical, plastic, textile, chemical, and other downstream industries, the Pachpadra Refinery aims to establish Rajasthan as a major hub for manufacturing and industrial investment. It will not only enhance the state’s position as a key energy and industrial center but also strengthen energy security and bolster the commitment to a self-reliant India.

CM Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the inauguration of the Pachpadra Refinery will take place soon with PM Modi, emphasizing the importance of good planning and collaboration to make this occasion memorable.

He remarked, “The Pachpadra Refinery will serve as a strong foundation for the country’s energy security and act as a significant growth engine for Rajasthan’s economic development.”

The HRRL management showcased samples of various products currently being developed at the refinery. A model of the refinery complex and a booklet detailing the project’s journey and achievements were also presented to the Chief Minister.

Officials informed CM Bhajanlal Sharma that more than half of the refinery’s units are now operational, and production of several petroleum and petrochemical products has commenced. The management praised the Chief Minister’s continuous monitoring and support, noting that the collaboration between HRRL and the Rajasthan government has accelerated the project’s progress.
