Ashutosh Yadav Expresses Gratitude After Receiving Letter from Prime Minister Modi

Kanpur, June 24: Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally responded to a letter from Ashutosh Yadav, a competitive student from Kanpur, praising his thoughts and commitment to the nation. In his letter dated June 13, the Prime Minister expressed that Ashutosh and his family’s sentiments deeply moved him and that heartfelt messages from citizens like them provide him with renewed energy to serve the country.

In the letter sent to Ashutosh, the Prime Minister wrote, “Thank you for sharing your thoughts through your affectionate letter. The feelings expressed by you and your family have touched my heart. Messages of warmth from citizens like you give me fresh energy to work for the nation. Given the current global circumstances, citizens are making remarkable efforts at various levels in response to my call for energy conservation. The government is also continuously working to strengthen energy security, promote alternative energy sources, and turn energy conservation into a people’s movement.”

The letter further stated, “Your and your family’s commitment to the prudent consumption of essential goods, driven by the spirit of putting the nation first, is commendable. Through such collective efforts and public participation, we are steadily progressing on the path of development, overcoming numerous challenges. This spirit of unity and solidarity is the foundation of our progress. Your awareness of national and global issues, positive thinking, and approach to problem-solving are highly commendable. You are the cornerstone of a self-reliant and empowered India.”

After receiving the letter, Ashutosh expressed to the media, “I feel fortunate and immensely proud that in a democratic system, a citizen can convey their thoughts to the Prime Minister. I thank the Prime Minister for listening to a common citizen and responding.”

Ashutosh noted that he learned through the news about the Prime Minister’s initiative to limit his security convoy. He wrote to the Prime Minister expressing his concerns and emphasized the need not to compromise on security.

He remarked, “In the past 12 years, there has been significant development, with the digital revolution being the greatest achievement. From common people to traders, everyone can now make payments instantly through UPI. Additionally, a network of highways and expressways has been established. The efforts to operate bullet trains are ongoing. Many developmental works have taken place under the Modi government, bringing about change in the country.”

Regarding the Prime Minister’s emphasis on building a self-reliant and empowered India, Ashutosh stated, “Public participation is essential for the successful implementation of any scheme or policy. The cleanliness campaign initiated at the Prime Minister’s call is an excellent example of public involvement. The Prime Minister has placed greater trust in the youth because they are capable and want to take charge of their country. The youth have the potential to determine the pace and direction of the nation.”
