New Delhi, April 3: Raghav Chadha, a Rajya Sabha MP from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has made serious allegations against his own party through social media. He stated that he is being prevented from raising issues that matter to the public. This statement comes in the wake of his recent removal from the position of Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha, making it even more significant. Chadha represents Punjab in the Rajya Sabha, with his term extending from 2022 to 2028.
In his message, he declared, “I have been silenced, but I have not lost.” He emphasized that attempts are being made to suppress his voice, yet he remains committed to advocating for the common man’s concerns.
In a video shared on social media, Chadha highlighted that he has consistently brought public-related issues to the forefront in Parliament. He cited examples such as the high prices of food at airports and the challenges faced by delivery workers from online food platforms like Swiggy and Zomato. He has also raised concerns regarding difficulties in the banking sector and the troubles faced by the public at toll plazas.
Chadha alleges that now his own party is obstructing him from addressing these issues. He questioned why a party that claims to represent the common man would attempt to silence public voices. He further claimed that directives have been issued within the party to prevent him from asking questions and to restrict his speaking opportunities.
This statement has stirred political circles, indicating potential internal discord within AAP. However, there has been no official response from the party leadership regarding these claims.
