Chennai, April 3: In the lead-up to the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is set to embark on a significant campaign tour in Tirunelveli today. This tour is a crucial part of the DMK and its allies’ growing electoral efforts in southern Tamil Nadu, with voting scheduled for April 23.
According to the planned itinerary, CM Stalin will depart from Chennai around 4:50 PM and travel by air to Tuticorin. From there, he will proceed by road to Tirunelveli, where he is expected to address a large public rally on the Nellai South Bypass. A substantial turnout is anticipated as the election campaign enters its final phase.
During the rally, CM Stalin will campaign in support of several key candidates from the DMK and its allied parties. These include Assembly Speaker Appavu, contesting from the Rathapuram seat, incumbent MLA Abdul Wahab from Palayamkottai, and candidate Subramanian from Tirunelveli.
