Punjabs Discontent with AAP and Congress: BJPs Promises for 2027

Bhatinda, August 25: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh has criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab. He stated that the people of Punjab are currently disillusioned with both AAP and Congress. Promises of an education and health revolution remain unfulfilled; no new schools or hospitals have been built, and women have not received the promised ₹60,000. The law and order situation has completely deteriorated.

Chugh emphasized that Punjab is on the brink of crisis. Daily debts are increasing, extortion is rampant, and mafia rule prevails. The law enforcement situation is dire, with bomb blasts reported at 21 police stations, an explosion at BJP leader Kalia’s residence, and attacks on temples and party workers.

“The people of Punjab are filled with hatred towards AAP and Congress. Not a single promise regarding the education revolution has been kept. No new schools have been established, nor has the quality of education improved. Similarly, the health revolution promised has not materialized with any new hospitals in Punjab. The public has been misled about medical insurance, and the promised financial aid to women has not been delivered. Law and order has collapsed, and mafia leaders are in control. Punjab is now marginalized,” Chugh stated.

He noted that the daily increase in debt is alarming. Given these circumstances, the people of Punjab are crying out for change, recognizing that both AAP and Congress have failed. Now, they are looking towards the BJP.

Chugh further remarked, “The law and order situation has completely broken down. Bomb blasts occur at 21 police stations. There have been explosions at BJP leader Kalia’s home, bombs dropped in temples, and attacks on BJP workers with grenades. The police headquarters has faced missile attacks, and murders happen daily on the streets. The law enforcement situation in Punjab is tragic. Criminals operate freely, causing immense fear and distress among the public.”

The people of Punjab are yearning for change. They desire a strong government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi that works for them. The BJP aims to secure victory in the 2027 elections, contesting all 117 seats.
