Chandigarh, August 27: Good news for those seeking employment at a prestigious university in India. Punjab University, Chandigarh, has released an official notification inviting applications for various temporary positions, including Project Assistant, under the ‘State Support Mission’ as a ‘Lead Knowledge Institution’ (LKI) for the fiscal year 2026-27.
The vacancies announced by Punjab University include three positions for Project Assistants and three for Project Associates. Eligible candidates will be selected based on a walk-in interview and document verification. The monthly salary for the selected candidates will range from ₹6,000 to ₹30,625, along with additional benefits and allowances.
Candidates attending the interview must hold a graduation or post-graduate degree in any subject from a recognized institution or university, with a minimum of 55% marks.
The walk-in interview is scheduled for September 8 at the ‘Center for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, First Floor, Calem Building, South Campus, Punjab University, Sector 25, Chandigarh.’ Candidates are advised to report to the center by 10 AM.
Those planning to attend the interview should arrive on time and bring a hard copy of the completed application form along with original and photocopies of all relevant documents.
