Mumbai, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw is facing challenges in both his professional and personal life. The 26-year-old opener, currently out of the national team, has made headlines again as his fiancée, Akriti Agarwal, announced their separation via social media.
On Instagram, Akriti shared the news, stating, “With a heavy heart, I want to inform everyone that my fiancé and I have decided to part ways due to differing goals and circumstances for our future. Despite the love and care we have for each other, we have come to realize that our paths are not meant to align. Given our responsibilities and the situations we are currently facing, we have mutually agreed to separate.”
She further expressed her hopes for both of them to find peace and happiness as they move on. Akriti requested that their privacy be respected during this difficult time and urged others to avoid speculating about the reasons behind their decision.

Once considered the next big star of Indian cricket, Shaw made his Test debut against the West Indies at just 18 years old, scoring a century. However, he has struggled with form since then and has found himself out of the team. Currently, he is fighting to secure his place in domestic cricket and the IPL.
