Alexander Isak Reflects on Liverpools Season and Fan Support

New Delhi, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : Alexander Isak has made a remarkable start to the 2026-27 season with Liverpool, scoring three goals in four Premier League matches. After a challenging debut season hampered by injuries, he has successfully returned to form.

In an interview on ‘JioHotstar,’ Isak shared his thoughts on the club and highlighted the passion and dedication of the fans. He expressed his appreciation for the support Liverpool receives, especially from fans who stay up late to watch the games.

Reflecting on his journey from Sweden to Liverpool, Isak noted that the early days were particularly tough. “Establishing myself at such a young age brought many challenges,” he said. “The journey has been long, and I’ve faced numerous obstacles along the way.”

When comparing the Premier League to leagues in Spain and Germany, Isak remarked on the distinct styles and cultures of each league. “The Premier League is more physical and fast-paced, while Spain tends to be more controlled and technical,” he explained.

Isak also responded to being singled out by captain Virgil van Dijk as a player to watch this season. He acknowledged the talent within the team and expressed hopes for a successful season. “Van Dijk has been playing for a long time, and his composure on the field, whether he has the ball or not, is impressive,” he noted.

Regarding Liverpool’s popularity in India, Isak expressed gratitude for the international support. “We appreciate all the support we receive from abroad, especially knowing that the timing isn’t always convenient,” he said. “We hope to perform well and make this season memorable, making those late nights worthwhile.”
