President Trump Celebrates Easter, Emphasizes National Strength and Military Might

Washington, April 6: President Donald Trump celebrated Easter at the White House on Monday. During the event, he shared religious sentiments alongside political remarks, emphasizing the nation’s strength and recent military actions.

Speaking at the annual Easter Egg Roll, Trump stated, “This is a very special day… a day to remember Jesus… a day to celebrate faith.”

He expressed confidence in the state of the nation, saying, “Our country is doing very well, better than ever… We have broken every record in the stock market. We have also broken every record in our military.”

Trump referenced a recent mission that rescued two American pilots in Iran, showcasing it as an example of U.S. strength. He remarked, “Yesterday’s rescue… we brought back not one, but two people safely.”

He noted that such operations are highly risky and often avoided, as rescuing one pilot can endanger many lives.

Praising American soldiers, Trump called them “the best fighters in the world” and asserted that the U.S. possesses the most powerful military globally.

The event also touched on domestic issues, including the rising cost of eggs. Trump noted that egg prices have significantly dropped, attributing the decrease to his administration’s efforts.

He mentioned that over 40,000 eggs were used in the event, provided by farmers across the country.

First Lady Melania Trump also addressed the crowd briefly, wishing everyone a happy Easter and linking the event to the nation’s 250th birthday.

She said, “I hope you are enjoying this beautiful day… Celebrate it well and have a wonderful day.”

Trump anticipated attendance of 30,000 to 50,000 people throughout the day. Comparing it to last year, he remarked, “A year ago… our country seemed finished… and today, we are the most forward-moving country in the world.”

The Easter Egg Roll is a longstanding White House tradition, where thousands of families gather on the South Lawn each year. This tradition dates back to the 19th century and is one of the largest public events hosted by the President, combining festive celebration with a governmental message.
