Pratibha Ranta Reflects on Emotional Journey in The Revolutionaries

Mumbai, September 13 (Daily Kiran) : Pratibha Ranta has opened up about her transformative experience while working on the project ‘The Revolutionaries.’ The actress expressed that this role demanded a lot from her as a performer and, in return, offered invaluable insights and growth.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on Sunday, Ranta reflected on portraying the character Pratibha Lahiri. She stated, “I don’t think I can ever talk about ‘The Revolutionaries’ without getting emotional. It was a project that asked a lot from me as an actor, and in return, it gave me so much more. I had the chance to perform scenes I have always wanted to do—scenes that tested me, inspired me to push forward, and helped me discover aspects of myself I didn’t know I could bring to a character.”

Ranta emphasized how portraying Pratibha Lahiri allowed her to connect with women who love deeply, shoulder numerous responsibilities, and still find ways to stay strong and move forward. “There is a quiet strength in the way women manage their lives, and I will always be grateful for the opportunity to understand that aspect through this character,” she added.

She also expressed her gratitude to director Nikhil Advani for trusting her with this role. Ranta said, “Thank you, Nikhil Advani, for giving me the character of Pratibha and allowing me to be part of this beautiful world. I still get emotional thinking about my first Filmfare Award and how everyone supported me. Seeing you cheer for me and celebrate that moment is a memory I will cherish forever.”

Speaking about the show’s music, Ranta mentioned that the song “Aur Aayenge” is one of her favorites from the series.

She concluded her post by reflecting on the overwhelming love the project has received. “I’m still feeling everything. I’m still a bit emotional and so grateful for this project, this character, this team, and all the love ‘The Revolutionaries’ has garnered. Thank you for cheering us on and making this journey so special.”

‘The Revolutionaries’ premiered on Amazon Prime Video on September 11.
