Rajinikanths Jailer 2 Set for Hindi Release, Confirm Producers

Mumbai, October 12 (Daily Kiran) : Superstar Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated film ‘Jailer 2’ will indeed be released in Hindi, according to the film’s producers. This announcement puts to rest recent speculation regarding the film’s availability in the Hindi language.

On Monday, a spokesperson for the film released a statement clarifying that reports claiming ‘Jailer 2’ would not be released in Hindi were inaccurate. The statement read, “Recent media reports have suggested that ‘Jailer 2’ will not have a Hindi release. We would like to officially clarify that the Hindi version is set to hit theaters on October 15, alongside other language releases.”

The producers further stated that the film will be distributed in North India by Pen Marudhar Entertainment. They emphasized that there have been no changes to the scheduled release of the Hindi version and urged media outlets to refrain from spreading unverified information about the film’s release. They expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from the media.

‘Jailer 2’ is a sequel to the blockbuster film ‘Jailer,’ released in 2023. Rajinikanth reprises his role as the retired jailer Tiger Muthuveil Pandian, who becomes embroiled in a new perilous struggle involving a criminal network and threats to his family.

The film features an ensemble cast, including Mohanlal, Shiv Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, S.J. Surya, and Sooraj Venjaramoodu. The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

The trailer showcases high-octane action, dark humor, and intense confrontations. Rajinikanth mentioned that he agreed to participate in this sequel because there was ample room to further the story from the first film.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced under the Sun Pictures banner, ‘Jailer 2’ is set to release in theaters on October 15.
