Sharad Kelkar Returns as Ravana in Season 7 of The Legend of Hanuman, Streaming from October 23

Mumbai, October 12 (Daily Kiran) : Actor Sharad Kelkar is set to lend his voice to Ravana once again in the seventh season of the animated series “The Legend of Hanuman.” The new season will premiere on JioCinema starting October 23.

Kelkar expressed his excitement about being part of this series, emphasizing the significance of characters from Indian culture and mythology. He noted that these stories have been cherished across generations.

In his remarks about the new season, he stated, “I am very happy to be a part of ‘The Legend of Hanuman.’ This show brings to life the tales from our mythology that have long been a part of our culture. It is special to connect with characters that have been loved for generations.”

He added that Season 7 will take Hanuman’s journey in a new direction. Viewers can expect to see aspects of his divinity and immense power that have not been showcased before. The season promises a blend of action and emotion, with Hanuman’s powers gradually unfolding, making it a unique experience.

On Monday, the creators released the trailer for Season 7 on social media, captioned, “With the death arrow, Bajrangbali will write the end of Ravana’s story.”

The trailer depicts the battle in Lanka reaching its most challenging phase, with Ravana becoming more powerful and the hopes of the monkey army dwindling. In this critical moment, Hanuman embarks on a quest for a weapon that could help defeat Ravana once and for all.

This quest takes Hanuman far from the battlefield and across different eras, revealing forgotten truths about Lord Ram’s past. His journey even leads him to the realm of the dead, where he uncovers a mystery that helps him understand his divine powers in a new light.

Sharad Devarajan, co-founder and CEO of Graphic India, the series’ creators, shared his thoughts on the new season. He described making “The Legend of Hanuman” as one of the most special experiences of his life, thanks to the partnership with JioCinema that allows them to explore and present the different layers of the story to the audience.
