New Delhi, May 7: Amid the ongoing political upheaval regarding government formation in Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdev expressed disappointment over the TVK’s recent actions. He stated that many had high hopes for TVK, but they made a significant misstep by allying with what he termed the country’s most corrupt party.
Shahdev targeted Congress, claiming they excel in changing their colors, a skill that could make even a chameleon blush. Just a day prior, Congress leaders were seen posing with DMK, attempting to showcase unity. However, as soon as power became a possibility, they abandoned DMK for TVK.
He noted that while Vijay has claimed to form a government, he likely has not secured the necessary support from legislators. This could explain why the Governor has yet to invite him to form a government.
Regarding Operation Sindoor, Shahdev recounted that terrorists crossing the border had desecrated women’s sindoor by asking about their religion. This act sparked nationwide outrage, leading to the launch of Operation Sindoor, which targeted the terrorists’ safe havens and training camps. He asserted that Pakistan had capitulated, allowing India to declare a ceasefire on its terms.
Shahdev emphasized that Operation Sindoor is not over. He reiterated that if Pakistan makes another mistake, India has already made it clear that a response will be forthcoming.
On the violence in West Bengal, he labeled the TMC as a party of goons, stating that their lawlessness has escalated. While he described himself as a peace-loving individual, he warned that such behavior would not be tolerated once a government is formed.
BJP councilor Navnath Ban praised Operation Sindoor and launched a sharp attack on Sanjay Raut, accusing him of colluding with the Gandhi family to deliberately tarnish the country’s image.
In response to the ongoing debate over Vande Mataram in Maharashtra, he urged leaders like those from the Samajwadi Party, AIMIM, Waris Pathan, and Abu Azmi to understand that if they wish to reside in Maharashtra, they must respect Vande Mataram. He stressed that this is not a matter of worship but a sign of national respect, asserting that those who cannot say Vande Mataram should consider relocating to Pakistan or Bangladesh.
