
Dibrugarh, August 29: The Dibrugarh district administration has issued a public notice to assist candidates appearing for the NEET PG 2026 examination. The notice, released by the District Commissioner’s Office, urges candidates to pay special attention to the train schedules passing through Lahowal Railway Station on August 30 (Sunday) and plan their travel accordingly.
On the exam day, several trains will operate from 5:15 AM to 8:00 PM at Lahowal Railway Station. The administration confirmed that train services will run in both directions: downwards from New Tinsukia to Dibrugarh and upwards from Dibrugarh to New Tinsukia. Given the potential for railway crossings or traffic disruptions, candidates are advised to leave for their exam centers well in advance.
According to the public notice, key trains such as the Rajdhani Express, Rangiya Express, Awadh Assam Express, Naharlagun Express, Barak Brahmaputra Express, Vivek Express, LTT Express, Tambaram Express, and Kamrup Express will be operating throughout the day. These trains will maintain their scheduled timings from morning until night.
The administration has emphasized the importance of making necessary arrangements to avoid any delays and encourages candidates to arrive at their exam centers well ahead of time. Officials clarified that this advisory is issued solely in the interest of candidates participating in NEET PG 2026, ensuring they do not face any inconveniences on the examination day.
Dibrugarh administration has appealed to all candidates and their families to consider alternative routes and allow sufficient extra time during their travels, ensuring timely arrival at the exam center.
