Patna, May 26: Political tensions in Bihar have escalated once again. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has raised concerns about the state’s law and order situation and the increasing crime rates, targeting the state government. In response, BJP leader Mangal Pandey stated that the real surge in crime occurred during the tenure of Tejashwi’s parents.
Tejashwi Yadav took to social media platform X on Monday to express his worries about the recent rise in crime and kidnapping cases in Bihar. He claimed that a significant number of children, mostly girls, have gone missing in the past month alone. He accused the government of failing to address the growing incidents of rape, murder, robbery, and theft, asserting that the law and order situation in Bihar is deteriorating.
In a rebuttal to these allegations, Mangal Pandey reminded Tejashwi Yadav of the serious crime situation during his parents’ administration. He pointed out that decisions regarding kidnapping cases were often made from the Chief Minister’s residence at that time. Pandey also remarked that any glorification of criminals happened during the period when Tejashwi’s father was in power.
During his statements, Mangal Pandey praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12-year tenure, calling it a significant period for India. He emphasized that the country has witnessed new directions of development under Modi’s leadership, enhancing India’s international standing and influence.
