Political Exposé on Womens Reservation Bill by BJP Leader Dilip Ghosh

New Delhi, April 19: BJP leader Dilip Ghosh has launched a sharp attack on opposition parties regarding the Women’s Reservation Amendment Bill. The candidate from the Kharagpur Sadar assembly constituency stated that this bill has revealed the true face of parties that have long claimed to support women’s empowerment and rights.

In an interview with a news agency, Ghosh remarked, “The Women’s Reservation Bill has exposed many parties that frequently talk about women’s empowerment and rights. Their lack of support for this bill clearly indicates that they are merely politicizing women’s issues.”

He emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken significant steps toward women’s empowerment. However, he noted that the opposition did not support this crucial initiative, highlighting their failure to act in the nation’s interest.

Ghosh further criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, claiming she attempts to buy votes from women by offering them ₹1500. He asserted that she shows no concern for women’s safety, pointing out that law and order in West Bengal has deteriorated. “No one listens to the public’s problems. The people are frustrated, which is why they are turning to the BJP this time. They know which party can bring about their development,” he stated.

In response to Prime Minister Modi’s comments on the failure to pass the Women’s Reservation Amendment Bill, BJP leader Ram Kripal Yadav expressed confidence in the government’s commitment to empowering women. “Our Prime Minister has made it clear that we will implement the reservation bill to bring women into the mainstream. We currently lack sufficient support to pass it. Those who obstructed it, especially the Congress party, will face the consequences,” he said.

Yadav also addressed the recent incident involving the Iranian military firing on an Indian ship, stating that the Indian government has taken this matter seriously. “We have lodged a protest and are in discussions with the Iranian embassy. We hope for a resolution,” he added.
