New Delhi, April 19: Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has been admitted to the hospital due to health issues, where he underwent surgery. Following the procedure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached out to inquire about Kalyan’s condition.
PM Modi shared on social media platform X, “I spoke with Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and asked about his health. He is very courageous, and I am confident he will recover soon. I am praying for his good health.”
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also expressed his wishes on X, stating, “I wish Pawan Kalyan a speedy recovery after his surgery. May he regain his strength and return even healthier.”
According to the Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Kalyan’s surgery took place on Saturday evening. His health deteriorated suddenly while he was discussing administrative matters with officials on Friday morning. He had been facing health issues for the past few months, prompting him to cancel all his government engagements for Friday based on his personal doctors’ advice and seek hospitalization.
Medical examinations, including an MRI, were conducted at the hospital. After reviewing the reports, doctors determined that surgery was necessary. They advised that Kalyan could participate in government activities after a week to ten days of rest, but emphasized the need for ongoing caution as full recovery will take additional time.
Pawan Kalyan’s political secretary, Hariprasad, confirmed that the surgery was performed at a hospital in Hyderabad and reported that his health is currently stable.
