Oppositions Blockade of Womens Reservation Bill Exposes Anti-Women Stance: Nitin Naveen

New Delhi, April 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Saturday following the rejection of the constitutional amendment bill related to women’s reservation in the Lok Sabha. In the meantime, Nitin Naveen, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, shared an extensive post on the social media platform ‘X’.

Nitin Naveen stated that the Congress, TMC, DMK, Samajwadi Party, and the entire opposition have once again revealed their anti-women stance by blocking crucial legislation like the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’. He wrote, “But the nation is a witness that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always fulfilled the commitments he made to the country.”

He highlighted key decisions made by PM Modi, including the abrogation of Article 370, the construction of the Ram Temple, the liberation of Muslim sisters from triple talaq, and historic reforms like GST. He further noted, “When it comes to national security, strong actions like airstrikes, surgical strikes, and Operation Sindoor have shown our enemies their limits. PM Modi has also fulfilled his commitment to lead the country out of global disasters like COVID-19.”

Nitin Naveen emphasized that the Modi government has always prioritized the respect, safety, and dignity of mothers and sisters. Initiatives like the Ujjwala Yojana, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, and the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam serve as proof of this commitment. He concluded, “Today, the commitment made by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi to implement this act will surely be fulfilled under his guidance, because with Modi, anything is possible.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also shared a video of PM Modi’s address to the nation on ‘X’, stating, “Whether it’s border disputes with neighboring countries or water sharing with Pakistan, the Congress party’s work culture has been to delay, distract, and obstruct national interest issues, causing significant harm to the country.”
