PM Modis Journey Inspires Grassroots Workers: Tamilisai Soundararajan

Chennai, June 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completed 12 years in office, a milestone praised by BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan, who described it as an inspiration for grassroots workers. In a conversation with reporters, she emphasized that in the BJP, one’s political ascent is not determined by connections to elite families. Every individual must start their journey from scratch in this party.

Tamilisai Soundararajan highlighted how Prime Minister Modi began his political career as a common worker and has now reached this significant position. His journey serves as a motivation for every party worker who is dedicated to hard work at the grassroots level. It is indeed a matter of pride for all of us that Prime Minister Modi has held this position for the longest duration. If we consider his tenure as Chief Minister, it would not be wrong to say that he possesses vast political experience that will undoubtedly benefit future generations.

She also mentioned the development schemes initiated by the central government, which are currently benefiting the people of Tamil Nadu. Tamilisai Soundararajan stated that it is fair to say that Prime Minister Modi is working as a son of Tamil Nadu. During his tenure, he has launched schemes that directly benefit the people of the state. The central government has initiated programs like Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, and Jan Aushadhi Yojana, contributing to the holistic development of the state’s residents. The Prime Minister has ensured that no compromises are made on anyone’s interests.

As a doctor, Tamilisai Soundararajan shared her insights on how people previously faced difficulties in accessing treatment. However, with the introduction of Ayushman Bharat and Jan Aushadhi schemes, the common people are now reaping the benefits. Even wealthy individuals faced challenges in paying hospital bills, but the Prime Minister’s initiatives have created systems that directly benefit the general populace, alleviating their struggles.

She further elaborated on the emphasis placed on infrastructure and basic development during Prime Minister Modi’s tenure. He has enhanced connectivity by launching several airports in the state, which will accelerate development in the coming days. Notably, airports have been established in southern Tamil Nadu, benefiting local residents. The introduction of Vande Bharat trains and the construction of 11 medical colleges have also been significant achievements, ensuring that people do not face difficulties. Today, Tamil Nadu’s economy has gained new momentum, providing substantial advantages to its citizens. Additionally, the installation of Sengol in the Parliament building has elevated the state’s dignity, marking a proud moment for us.

The BJP leader noted that it is a result of the Prime Minister’s initiatives that special emphasis is being placed on women’s empowerment. Today, a significant number of women MPs are entering Parliament and joining the armed forces.

Moreover, she criticized Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay, stating that despite his long tenure, the issue of atrocities against women continues unabated. She also addressed the ongoing power outages, pointing out that during the Chief Minister’s recent event, there was a power failure, and the program had to be conducted using LED lights. This situation cannot be dismissed, as power shortages remain a persistent problem, causing hardships for the people. The government must pay attention to this issue.
