New Delhi, June 3: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared an inspiring message on unity via the social media platform ‘X’ on Wednesday morning. Through this post, he emphasized that the strength of a nation multiplies through unity and mutual cooperation.
In his post, PM Modi stated, “When citizens are bound together by unity and cooperation, the strength of the nation increases manifold. It is this collective resolve of the people of India that is propelling our country to new heights of progress.”
Along with his message, PM Modi also shared a Sanskrit verse: “धूमायन्ते व्यपेतानि ज्वलन्ति सहितानि च. धृतराष्ट्रोल्मुकानीव ज्ञातयो भरतर्षभ॥”
The meaning of this verse is that just as separate logs do not exhibit their full energy, they provide light and warmth when gathered together. Similarly, the advancement, prosperity, and strength of a state depend on the unity, mutual cooperation, and collective resolve of its citizens.
Earlier, PM Modi had shared a message on determination and self-discipline on Tuesday. In his post on ‘X’, he wrote, “Determination and self-discipline are the powers that make even the toughest paths easier. Today, our young compatriots are continuously engaged in nation-building with this resolve.”
Along with this post, PM Modi shared another Sanskrit verse: “निश्चित्य यः प्रक्रमते नान्तर्वसति कर्मणः. अबन्ध्यकालो वश्यात्मा स वै पण्डित उच्यते॥” The Hindi translation of this verse is, “A person who thoughtfully begins a task with firm determination and does not leave it unfinished, who makes good use of time and has complete control over their senses, is truly wise.”
