Mumbai, April 1: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited a tea garden in Dibrugarh during his Assam tour on Wednesday. He met with women workers and engaged in conversation with them. PM Modi even picked tea leaves himself, describing the experience as truly memorable.

In a post on his social media account, he shared images from his time at the tea garden, stating, “Tea is the soul of Assam! The tea from here has made its mark globally. We take immense pride in the efforts of every family in the tea gardens. Their hard work and dedication have elevated Assam’s stature.”

He further mentioned that he had meaningful interactions with the women working in the tea garden. PM Modi praised their hard work and commitment, noting that their efforts have brought recognition to Assam across the country and the world.

The Prime Minister also shared glimpses of moments spent with the women in his post. After picking tea leaves, the women shared insights about their culture and even posed for photographs. PM Modi expressed that taking selfies with them was a memorable experience.
