Kolkata, March 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the Kamakhyaguri Railway Station in Alipurduar district on March 14. This station has been redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme to enhance facilities and infrastructure for passengers.

Local residents expressed their happiness over the upgraded station, noting that it will provide better amenities and convenience for travelers. One resident mentioned that the redevelopment will improve connectivity, benefiting local traders and passengers alike.

Another local stated, “Kamakhyaguri is our very old station. The promise of the Amrit Bharat scheme has been fulfilled. The Prime Minister is dedicating it to us.
