Modis Cultural Democracy Enhances Indias Global Influence, Says Basavaraj Bommai

Basavaraj Bommai highlights PM Modis influence on Indias global standing through cultural democracy and nationalism during a campaign in Hubli.

Hubli, October 15 (Daily Kiran) : Former Karnataka Chief Minister and BJP MP Basavaraj Bommai stated on Thursday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s focus on nationalism and the principle of “Nation First” has significantly boosted India’s influence on the global stage. He made these remarks while campaigning for BJP candidate S.V. Sankanur in the Ashok Nagar area of Hubli.

Bommai emphasized that in today’s technology-driven era, social media plays a crucial role in shaping public opinion. However, he accused certain groups of using these platforms to undermine Modi’s leadership. He expressed that the Prime Minister is deeply committed to the nation, with a vision of building a strong and prosperous India under the “Nation First” doctrine.

He further claimed that some forces, unable to tolerate India’s growing global stature, are attempting to incite dissent and chaos within the country. Referencing recent events in France and Spain, Bommai noted that societies focused on technology and business can quickly recover from disorder. In contrast, India is unique due to its rich cultural traditions.

“We are people who live according to our culture. We must continue to uphold our cultural values,” he stated. According to Bommai, under Modi’s leadership, India has emerged as a nation capable of addressing various challenges both domestically and internationally.

He cautioned that in this technology-centric age, there are attempts to manipulate knowledge and misuse technology to exert influence over the world. He remarked that while people in the past could dominate without territorial claims, today some are trying to control the world through knowledge and technological manipulation.

Bommai also criticized the Congress-led Karnataka government for launching technical campaigns against Modi, alleging these efforts aimed to sway election outcomes. He urged the state government to take action against such activities, claiming that development has slowed during its tenure. He pointed out that the state’s debt has increased, the treasury is empty, and corruption cases are on the rise.

Additionally, he accused the government of failing to address teachers’ concerns and provide adequate facilities for both private and public sector employees. Bommai expressed confidence that a victory for BJP-supported candidates in the upcoming elections would send a strong message to the government, which he believes is not acting in the public’s interest.

He is optimistic that with Modi’s support, the BJP will regain power in Karnataka by 2028. He pointed out the heavy pressure on government employees from the state government, encouraging them to remain resolute and make decisions based on their judgment.

Bommai praised candidate S.V. Sankanur for his effective work during his two terms, particularly in organizing job fairs that have helped approximately 2,300 people find employment annually.
