PM Modi Elevates Indias Global Standing, Says BJPs Sanjay Sarawagi

Patna, July 11: Bihar BJP State President Sanjay Sarawagi made several significant remarks regarding the Bankipur Assembly by-election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign policy, Bihar’s political landscape, the situation in West Bengal, statements from Yogi Adityanath, and the national song ‘Vande Mataram.’

Speaking about Prime Minister Modi’s foreign trips, Sarawagi stated that the Prime Minister has enhanced India’s reputation and strengthened international relations. Modi has visited several countries where no Indian Prime Minister had traveled for decades. This has created new opportunities for India and solidified relationships with various nations.

He criticized the Congress party, claiming they have nothing positive to say. Rahul Gandhi often criticizes India when abroad, and even during Modi’s foreign visits, Congress continues to issue negative statements.

Attacking opposition alliances, Sarawagi remarked that whether it is the INDIA bloc, UPA, or any other coalition, they are all based on self-serving politics. This is why such alliances repeatedly fracture and disintegrate. The country has witnessed many such coalitions collapse in the past.

Supporting Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s statements, Sarawagi asserted that Adityanath is absolutely correct. He accused Rahul Gandhi of never visiting the temporary temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya but suddenly remembering him as elections approach in Uttar Pradesh.

He posed a question: if someone were to suggest reciting Hanuman Chalisa in Jama Masjid, would it be accepted? He stated that the Congress and Samajwadi Party only remember Lord Ram during elections.

It is noteworthy that during the inauguration and foundation-laying of development projects worth over ₹432 crores in the Bikapur assembly constituency of Ayodhya, Adityanath remarked, “These people offered prayers in Hanumangarhi, but can the Samajwadi Party, Congress, or any other government recite Hanuman Chalisa in Jama Masjid? If they cannot, why did they commit the sin of offering prayers in Hanumangarhi? Those who pretend to have faith have sinned, while the BJP has established Ayodhya as the cultural capital of Sanatan Dharma.”

Regarding the Bankipur Assembly by-election, Sarawagi shared that the party’s initially announced candidate, Abhishek Kumar, cited family reasons for his inability to contest. He communicated this through a letter and media. Following this, the BJP’s central leadership decided to nominate Neeraj Kumar Sinha as the candidate.

Sanjay Sarawagi mentioned that Neeraj Kumar Sinha has been active in the organization for a long time. He has worked at the booth level, served as the mandal president twice, and has also been the district vice president of the BJP Youth Front. Neeraj Kumar Sinha will file his nomination on July 13.

On the political situation in West Bengal, Sarawagi claimed that the public has rejected the Trinamool Congress politically. More than two-thirds of the MLAs who won on the party’s ticket have distanced themselves from it.

Regarding ‘Vande Mataram,’ he emphasized that it is India’s national song, while ‘Jana Gana Mana’ is the national anthem. This topic was discussed in Parliament, a bill was passed, and the government has enacted a law. The central government is now issuing necessary directives to all state governments and its institutions regarding this matter.
