Hansi, August 1: The central government has decided to extend the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme until the year 2030-31. This decision ensures continuous financial support for millions of farmers across the country. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive an annual amount of ₹6,000, disbursed in three equal installments directly into their bank accounts.
Farmers Rajiv and Baiga Ram from Hansi district expressed their happiness, stating that the extension of the scheme will provide economic security to farmers while strengthening the agricultural sector and rural economy.
The Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system allows funds to reach beneficiaries without intermediaries, ensuring transparency. Farmers receive timely financial assistance for seeds, fertilizers, and other agricultural investments, which helps enhance productivity. The extension of the scheme until 2030-31 is expected to further bolster the rural economy.
