PM Kisan 20th Installment: PM Narendra Modi Releases 20th Installment from Varanasi — Here’s How to Check Your Balance

New Delhi, August 2 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi today released the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme from Varanasi. A total of ₹20,500 crore has been directly transferred to the bank accounts of over 9.7 crore eligible farmers across the country, with each receiving ₹2,000.

The PM-Kisan scheme is a flagship initiative of the Central Government under which eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each. The first installment was released in 2019, and the scheme has since benefited millions of farmers.

How to Check PM-Kisan Balance Using Aadhaar

Beneficiaries can easily check if they have received the 20th installment:

1. Visit the official website: https://pmkisan.gov.in

2. Click on “Beneficiary Status” on the homepage

3. Enter either your Aadhaar number or bank account number

4. Click on “Get Data”

5. Your payment status and details will be displayed

Didn’t Receive the Payment? Here’s What to Do

If the installment hasn’t been credited to your account, don’t panic. First, ensure that your e-KYC is completed, as it has been made mandatory by the government. Without e-KYC, the payment may be withheld.

Who Can Avail the PM-Kisan Scheme?

To be eligible, the applicant must:

• Be a citizen of India

• Own cultivable agricultural land

• Be a small or marginal farmer

• Not receive a pension exceeding ₹10,000/month

• Not be an income tax filer

2. Click on “New Farmer Registration”

3. Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha

4. Click on “Yes” and proceed to fill the form

5. After entering all details, click on “Submit”
