75 Lakh Farmers in Rajasthan to Receive ₹2,000 Installment Under PM-Kisan Scheme; State-Level Event in Banswara

Banswara, August 1 (HS): The 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana will be released on August 2. Under this installment, approximately 75 lakh farmers in Rajasthan will receive ₹2,000 each directly in their bank accounts.

At the national level, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the funds via video conferencing from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

In Rajasthan, a state-level event is scheduled to take place in Banswara, where Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will be present. To review preparations for the event, Cooperation Minister Gautam Kumar Dak visited the college ground in Banswara and issued necessary instructions to officials.

Speaking to the media, Minister Dak stated that Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has taken a significant decision in favour of the state’s farmers. In addition to the central government’s assistance, the Rajasthan government will now provide ₹12,000 annually to farmers from its own budget.

District Collector Dr. Indrajit Yadav, Superintendent of Police Sudhir Joshi, and BJP District President Poonjilal Gayari were also present during the visit.
