Patna, August 4: A significant opportunity has emerged for young job seekers aspiring to work in the judiciary. The Patna High Court has officially announced the recruitment of eligible candidates for 68 vacant positions of Ex-Cadre Assistants (Group-C) under the Ex-Cadre Assistant Recruitment Examination, 2026.
The vacancies include 29 unreserved positions, 11 for Scheduled Castes (SC), 1 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 12 for Extremely Backward Classes (EBC), 8 for Backward Classes (BC), and 7 for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
The online application process commenced on July 28 and will remain open until August 27. Interested candidates can submit their registration forms on the official Patna High Court website before the deadline. The last date for payment of the application fee is set for August 30.
Applicants must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates should have a diploma or certificate in computer applications, with a minimum duration of six months.
The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, while the maximum age is capped at 37 years, calculated as of January 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a preliminary/screening test (only if the number of applicants is high), a written examination, a computer proficiency test, and an interview. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100, along with additional benefits and allowances.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹1,500 for unreserved/BC/EBC/EWS categories and ₹750 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
