Oppositions Stand Against Womens Reservation Could Lead to Political Disaster: Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi

Lucknow, April 20: Senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has criticized opposition parties, stating that their stance against women’s reservation could result in a significant political disaster for them.

In a conversation in Lucknow, Naqvi remarked that the so-called “lynching lobby” opposing women’s reservation is facing a technical defeat. He believes this will be a political disaster for parties like Congress and the Samajwadi Party.

He expressed that the opposition members are aware that their momentary celebration over this technical defeat will leave them with wounds for decades.

Naqvi accused the opposition of spreading negativity, claiming that celebrating the setback to women’s empowerment is misguided. He asserted that this is not a defeat but merely a postponement, as the bill is currently in quarantine.

He expressed confidence that under Narendra Modi’s leadership, the mission of women’s empowerment will advance with full strength.

Referring to Congress, Naqvi lamented that the party has become a non-performing entity, lacking both internal passion and external value. He stated that Congress is sinking and dragging its allies down with it.

Regarding the Samajwadi Party, he noted that it is merely echoing Congress’s failures while trying to establish its own identity. He described Congress’s current situation as being lost and without direction.

On the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections, Naqvi stated that the public has put up a “No Entry” sign against Mamata Banerjee’s misgovernance. He criticized her government for betraying the promises made under the slogan “Ma, Mati, Manush,” stating that there has been deceit towards mothers, dishonesty towards the people, and betrayal of the land.
