Opposition Urged to Support Womens Reservation and Delimitation Bills: Prakash Chik Baraik

New Delhi, August 8: BJP MP Prakash Chik Baraik has called on the opposition to support the Women’s Reservation Bill and the delimitation process. This appeal follows comments made by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat regarding the ‘Gen Z’ generation, as well as the proposed FCRA bill. Baraik emphasized the government’s commitment to advancing critical legislation and urged the opposition to play a constructive role.

In a conversation regarding Bhagwat’s remarks, Baraik stated that there was nothing inappropriate in the comments. He highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s approach of forgiveness, which was communicated through social media, clarifying the government’s stance. He noted that there would be no action taken against students involved in protests, as they were all young individuals deserving of forgiveness.

Regarding the delimitation and Women’s Reservation Bills, Baraik supported the appeal made by Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju for cooperation from Congress and other opposition parties. He asserted that these issues are in the interest of all and that the Women’s Reservation Bill should receive backing. He stressed the need for a positive outlook on all significant bills being introduced in the House and encouraged the opposition to respond constructively.

Baraik also expressed support for the government’s actions related to the FCRA bill. He mentioned that several important bills are being presented during the monsoon session, including the FCRA bill, which is set to be introduced by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He insisted that this bill should also be passed by Parliament to further the government’s legislative agenda.
