Mumbai, April 6: Reports indicate that the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Ultra will feature a periscope telephoto camera capable of 10x optical zoom. Following the success of its predecessor, the new model is set to enhance zooming capabilities with an optional Hasselblad telephoto extender. Recently, Zhuo Shijie, the product manager for the Find Series, shared insights about the telephoto extender for the Find X9 Ultra.

According to Zhuo Shijie, the concept of a “complete telephoto experience” starts with accessibility. The Find X9 Ultra is expected to include a built-in 10x optical zoom lens, developed in partnership with Hasselblad. This integrated system is designed for instant photography, eliminating the need for additional accessories.

Shijie emphasized that real-life moments are often fleeting, and users should not rely on external equipment. Whether capturing sports events or distant portraits, the built-in telephoto lens aims to deliver detailed images with refined color tones inspired by Hasselblad’s imaging technology.

For those seeking enhanced optical performance, Oppo is also developing an external telephoto kit. Unlike standard add-ons, this kit is designed as a comprehensive optical system. It reportedly incorporates 16 precision glass elements to enhance light intake and overall image clarity.

The external module is crafted to match the aesthetics and quality of Hasselblad lenses, providing a premium and durable experience. When paired with the phone’s internal telephoto camera, particularly the mid-range zoom lens, this combination is expected to elevate image quality significantly.
