Lucknow, May 30: In response to allegations from the Samajwadi Party regarding the Ghaziabad murder case, Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has issued a strong rebuttal. He stated that the Samajwadi Party should not limit its criticism to the Ghaziabad incident but should also address similar cases in Chandauli, Mau, and Barabanki.
Speaking about the murder of a young man in Ghaziabad, Rajbhar expressed his condolences to the grieving family. “A murder has occurred, and the family is in mourning. Our sympathies are with the victim’s family. Legal action will be taken, and no one involved in this crime will be spared. All arrests will be made within the framework of the law, and the guilty will be punished,” he said.
Rajbhar also responded to questions raised by Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav regarding the state’s law and order situation. He emphasized that the Samajwadi Party should not only focus on the Ghaziabad incident but should also speak out about the violence in Chandauli, Mau, and Barabanki.
He highlighted specific incidents, stating, “In Chandauli, four individuals from Akhilesh Yadav’s community assaulted the district president of the Samajwadi Party’s women’s wing in her home. Just two days ago, four individuals shot a Rajbhar in Mau’s Halderpur police station. In Barabanki, another young man from the Rajbhar community was brutally murdered. The Samajwadi Party and Akhilesh Yadav should address these incidents as well.”
Recently, Akhilesh Yadav criticized the BJP government for ruining law and order in the state, claiming that incidents of murder, robbery, and rape are on the rise. He noted that multiple murders occur daily from Ghaziabad to Ghazipur.
During this discourse, Rajbhar also commented on the recent controversy between the government and the governor in Kerala regarding the national song “Vande Mataram.” He asserted, “If someone wants to live in this country, they must say ‘Vande Mataram.’ The Prime Minister made this statement within the constitutional framework, and everyone in the country must adhere to it.”
