New Delhi, June 25: Working at NTPC Limited is a dream for thousands of young individuals. If you are among them, an excellent opportunity has emerged. NTPC Limited has officially announced the recruitment of 40 Assistant Chemist Trainee (ACT) positions and is inviting applications.
The 40 vacancies for the Assistant Chemist Trainee positions include 17 for Unreserved (UR), 4 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 10 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 6 for Scheduled Castes (SC), and 3 for Scheduled Tribes (ST). The online application process will commence on June 26 and the last date to apply is set for July 10. Eligible candidates wishing to apply for these positions can submit their registration forms on the official NTPC Limited portal once the application link is activated.
Applicants must possess a regular/full-time MSc degree in Chemistry from a recognized Indian university/institution, with a minimum of 60% marks overall. However, candidates from SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) categories who have only achieved passing marks are also eligible to apply. Additionally, students in their final year/semester expecting their results by July 31 are also encouraged to apply.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 27 years, calculated based on the last date of application. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a merit list, an all-India online selection examination that includes a subject knowledge test (Chemistry) and an executive aptitude test, followed by shortlisting and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹1,20,000 per month, along with additional benefits and allowances.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹500 for General/EWS/OBC candidates. SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen and female candidates are exempt from the registration fee.
