Northern Coalfields Announces Recruitment for 259 Positions Starting July 14

Bhopal, July 11: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has exciting news for job seekers. The company has released an official notification for the recruitment of 259 eligible candidates for various positions, including Mining Sardar, on its official website.

Among the 259 vacancies, there are 255 positions for Mining Sardar (Technical and Supervisory Grade-C) and 5 for Surveyor Technical and Supervisory Group-B (Mining). The online application process will commence on July 14 at 10 AM, with the deadline set for August 5. Interested candidates can submit their registration forms on the NCL website once the application link is activated.

Candidates applying for the Mining Sardar (T&S Grade-C) position must have passed the matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized board. They should also possess a valid Mining Sardarship certificate issued by DGMS under the Coal Mines Regulation 2017, a valid gas testing certificate, and a valid first aid certificate.

For the Surveyor T&S Grade-B (Mining) position, candidates must have passed the matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized board and hold a valid Surveyor qualification certificate (SSC) issued under the Coal Mines Regulation 2017. Alternatively, candidates may possess a degree or diploma in Mining/Mine Surveying Engineering along with the required certification.

The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is 30 years, calculated based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a computer-based test (CBT), merit list, document verification, and other stages. The basic salary for selected candidates will be ₹47,330.25 per month for the Mining Sardar position and ₹51,103.12 for the Surveyor role, along with additional benefits and allowances.

While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹1,180 for General/OBC-Non-Creamy Layer/EWS candidates. SC/ST/ESM/Departmental candidates will receive a fee waiver.
